First off I will describe what I thought of the first one.

-Stylish direction
-Inventive fx
-Amusing script
-Funny acting

Basically I really liked it, and I thought this would be good as it is co-written and produced by Rodriguez (the other sequal is by Tarantino)

So this one, in all fairness is a fucking shambles.

Set about 100 years ago in mexico it follows Ambrose (the Sheriff who acted amazingly in the first film, but sucks in this one) being mysterious basically, you never find out his purpose, crossing paths with a bandit (played by a crap actor) who has escaped from being hanged by the hangman (Blokey Morrison I can't spell his first name and was great in 'Once were worriors' but sucks here)and runs away with the Hangmans daughter Esmeralda (A bad Salma Heyak impersonator) and how they all end up at what is supposed to be the 'Titty Twister' 100 years ago.

Confused? No well watch the first hour of poinless unlikable characters getting to a bar with badly directed gunfights, shit acting and awful script.

At precisely 1 hour into the film the interseting moment happens, the 'titty twister' repeats as in the first film, Vampires break loose and kill. GREAT! One problem though.. all the way through this western it has been western music, and as soon as the vampires hit, so does 'The Beautiful People' by Marylin Manson and a strobe effect. Out of place ? VERY! But if it was in 'Blade' or 'Vampire$' it would be cool.

The FX are shoddy, very much like the first films but very cheap and rubbery. The CGI was only rough temp FX shots, so I really cannot judge them, but the scenes where they are to be are shit.

And instead of a conclusion, the story just cuts off and as a man in a bar says 'Is that it?'.

There is no logic in this story, there is no interest, it is not even enjoyably bad.

There are though about 5 minutes of salvagable cool shots, but apart from that the story does not explain itself at all. Its a fucking WASTE!

They are though, THANK GOD! doing some heavy re-shoots at the moment (including changing the pointless ending) and are toughing up the editing (which was a master stroke in showing how NOT to do it)


But for me the highlight was Danny Trejo as Razorblade Charlie returning

I very much doubt this can be made into a good film, unless they start all over again.
