"This is where Rupert came from"
4 stars

They couldn't go wrong. A film about a cemetary man who battles the living dead, with his mute sidekick. A scene where the head of a zombie bitch is talking to her lover through the TV box. And one of the most mind-twisting endings you are likely to see.

Rupert Everitt stars in this foreign film, and he does a very fine job. He is the "cemetary man." He looks after the graves of the recently deceased, a job that he inherited from his forefathers.

Unfortunately for him, the dead have been coming back and annoying him. There is even one scene where he is talking on his office phone while zombies queue outside waiting to be shot by Rupert.

His mute sidekick is an amazing character. You've never seen anything like him before. In fact you'll never have seen a film like this before.

Of course, there are a few heavy doses of nudity, with some blood and guts to compliment it all, but there has honestly never been a movie with an atmosphere as surreal as Dellamorte Dellamore.

If you can track it down, you won't be wasting your time.
