Before seeing this movie, I was subjected to numerous interviews about how Cliff was the greatest thing ever and that pissed me off. This movie was advertised so heavily, maybe it was just on MTV, I don't know, but I was sick of hearing about this Cliff guy from the start. By doing this heavy advertising, they shoed basically every part of the movie that Cliff was in, so the parts weren't funny anymore when I went to see it.
I thought this movie was okay for what it was, I wasn't expecting it to be that good to begin with, so I wasn't disappointed. It's a comedy about college and I guess it's kind of dark, but it's not that dark, really.
Mark Paul Gosselar was basically Zack Morris for this, but I like Zack Morris, so I didn't mind too much. Actually, if this movie had Mario Lopez, Dustin Diamond, Elizabeth Berkeley and Tiffany Amber Theissen, it probably would've been a lot better.
Come to think of it, why don't they have a Saved by the Bell movie? That'd kick ass, but I'm drifting now.If you don't mind watching a college comedy about death, then go ahead and see it, it's okay for what they had to work with.
