A Wild Thriller with the right amount of fear and laughs. This is where you can see the genius of Boyle and Hodges. I won't spoil the film, but the story revolves around 3 flatmates who are in need of a 4th. Their search initiates the movie and it goes haywire from there. The de-evolution of the characters is finely wrought. As the moral choices deepen, the movement of the piece quickens, giving the movie a whirlwind feel.
I held my breath nearly the entire film. The color saturation was wonderful. The fast-paced photography; nearly as thrilling as the plot. The angles and camera work were as fun to watch as the performances. Trainspotting was almost tame in comparison. Some of the more American of my friends had a tougher time understanding the accents, but the deciphering is worth it.
