Shouldn't it mention a "3" in there somewhere? The third installment of the Die Hard series is a slight removal from the other two, and that formula. Instead, it uses the "racially charged buddy action flick" because they got Samuel L. Jackson to spice it up.
Summary: John McLane is getting divorced from Bonnie Bedilia. The brother of the first villian is back for vengence, and he's blowing up buildings to get Jon's attention, and to steal a lot of money. That "Blowing up building and skipping out with the cash" plan must be in that Gruber blood. John enlists the help of electronics repairman Samuel L. Jackson who is in it to protect his kids. And to make it funny. Since there is a 4th die hard in the planning, I'm not giving anything away by saying John comes out alive, but battered as per usual.
This is not a bad movie. But it's nothing special, it's nothing we havn't seen before. Therefore i reccomend it for Bruce fans (me!) and for action flick die-hard (har har) fans, but it's not really much to offer to the average movie goerBruce Still rules, so he gets my 3 sporks up. You know what I mean...
