"Here a Klingon there a Klingon everywhere a Klingon!"
After "the Final Frontier" it was impossible to make a worse Star Trek movie, and this proves that.My favorite part of the Star Trek series is: Klingons! I even have the book that teaches you how to *speak* Klingon. I read the first two chapters before banishing it to the bottomless pit that is under my bed.
This movie is chok-full of Klingons! But they aren't evil in this one. Damn them. Their homeworld is in an environmental crisis that forces them to join the Federation. Of course, Kirk kinda fucks everything up during negotiations, and gets sent to a labor camp! Yay! Will he and Bones ever escape?!
This is a good installment of the series, but isn't terribly appealing to non-fans. Because it's very centered within its own universe and doesn't make much effort towards outside appeal. Everything is typical of a Star trek flick, but as they go, this is above average.3 sporks for everyone, but a must see for fans because it's got KLINGONS!
